I’ve had my Gmail account for a very long time. To use it, you simply start a new email and if you are using a Gmail or Exchange account, you select the Sent Later icon and pick a schedule for your email. It is only set up to work with Gmail and Exchange accounts only right now. This option is definitely one that caught my eye as soon as I saw it. You can spend a few hours on one day setting up the emails that need to go out rather than spending pockets of time over the course of several days. This roll-out will take place over the course of several weeks and having the ability to schedule emails really helps this type of communication plan to be more efficient. I am actually working with a client right now who is working to roll out a set of communications to their workforce to notify them of a software changeover. While this might seem like such an insignificant feature to some, for me, someone who spends most of her days sitting behind an email client, Send Later can be a real game changer. Today, Airmail developer Bloop has released an update that includes a lot of rich features that make your email experience even better with Airmail. Airmail gives users a very clean, modern experience with reading and managing their email. While I ended up shifting my email client use back to Apple Mail, I still filter one of my more complicated email accounts through Airmail for iOS.
I had the opportunity to review it and I ended up using it for quite some time and really enjoyed how easy it was to enable my different email accounts in its system.
